Chris Norris, C & C Norris Excavator Hire, North Queensland.I’ve been using PM oils in my excavator now for three years, since it was new, and I’ve found it to be pretty good oil. It gets pretty hot up here, especially when I do a lot of walking or I’m working in the scrub where there is no breeze and the radiator tends to get clogged up.
But, no matter how hot the conditions get, the PM does a good job at keeping my motor cool. It is very good in my track motors and keeps them very cool, especially when I do a lot of extended walking. We get very good wear rates and the oil test results that come back are always good, exceeding the manufacturer’s recommendations. I’ve had no breakdowns and from what I’ve found I would recommend PM oil to anyone.

We were using another brand of grease on the wear pads of our booms, and we found that the grease wasn’t hanging on. Someone recommended PM to us, so we switched over to the PM703 grease. We find it hangs onto the booms very well, and our operators are very happy with the PM grease.
